Fortunately, there's some good news for all us non-millionaire daydreamers as the 700+ horsepower Huayra is one of the cars listed on the upcoming racing game, Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. The game is scheduled for release on March 29 in the U.S., March 25 in the UK and April 1 for the rest of Europe. You can get a virtual taste of the new Pagani in the trailer after the jump.

There are very few (if any) people that can lose control of their car at 199mph or 320km/h and live another day to tell the tale. But that's exactly what happened to a 28-year-old German driver of a black Pagani Zonda F and his 21-year-old [sic...] Lithuanian passenger, after the young man lost control of the $1.5 million supercar earlier this week on Italy's A10 autostrada.

According to reports from Italy, the driver was going around 320 km/h (198.8 mph) when the car spun out of control hitting a guardrail on the right, losing a wheel, overturning and then colliding with a Mercedes, with which the driver was allegedly racing on the highway. Both the driver and the passenger of the supercar, as well as the driver of the Mercedes, came out unscathed.

Italian daily Corriere Della Sera also reported that the owner of the Pagani Zonda F had been fined last April on the same highway after he was clocked traveling in a Lamborghini at triple digit speed.

We have some pretty good news for Pagani fans with a hefty bank account in the States; the Italian firm is finally entering the U.S. market for the very first time with its new Huayra supercar. The company's previous model, the Zonda, was barred from the U.S. due to emissions restrictions, but that's not the case with the new Huayra.

According to Pagani Automobili's managing director, Francesco Zappacosta, the 700-horsepower exotic supercar will cost around $1.1 million and it’ll be available later this year initially through two select dealers.

The prohibitive price tag coupled with the fact that the Italian maker expects to reach its maximum production capacity next year producing only a few dozen cars annually, guarantees that the Huayra won’t be a common sight,.

The Zonda replacement’s future looks bright, as other players in the niche are either winding down production – the case of Volkswagen’s $1.3 million Bugatti Veyron – or are years away from presenting a worthy opponent.

Those lucky enough to get their hands on a Huayra are going to receive a truly high-tech and custom tailored exotic machine. For example, the body of the gullwing is constructed from carbon fiber combined with titanium strings, which prevents body parts from shattering. Inside, the instrument panel was designed by a Swiss watchmaker and is accompanied by a host of elements made from aluminum. But, ultimately, the customer dictates what goes into the car, as Pagani is ready to meet any specifications. “We see ourselves like a custom suit maker,” Zappacosta said.

Named after a South American god of wind, the Huayra is motivated by a brand new AMG-sourced twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 700HP and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of mountain-moving torque. No 0-to-100 km/h (62 mph) time has been released, but the 1,361 kg (3,000 lbs) supercar is said to have a top speed of 370 km/h or 230 mph.

Famous American Publication Forbes recently published a list of World's Top 10 Expensive cars. Most of the cars included in the list are limited-edition cars or next-generation super cars.
The interesting thing to note is that only two manufacturers-Koenigsegg and Lamborghini, have got more than 1 cars of their brand in the list.

Let's go through the details of World's Top 10 Expensive cars:-


1. Koenigsegg Trevita

Price : $ 2.21 million (€ 1.58 million)

Koenigsegg, the famous Sweedish supercar manufacturer bagged the 1st place in the list of World's Top 10 Expensive cars. The major peculiarity of this car is that it uses Biodiesel which is a relief for the environment. The car has a maximum power of 1018Bhp @ 7000rpm. It's 0-100km/h time is 2.9 seconds and Top Speed is greater than 400km/h.




2. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport

Price : $ 2 million (€ 1.43 million)

Bugatti veyron is a familiar sight in almost all rankings related to cars. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport occuppied the 2nd place in the list of World's Top 10 Expensive cars. It is also the World's fastest car with a top speed of about 400 km/h. Another interesting thing is that only 150 units of Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport have been manufactured till now.




3. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster

Price : $ 1.8 million (€ 1.29 million)

The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is an exclusive car from Italian manufacturer Pagani, with only 5 units produced till now. It holds the place for the 3rd Expensive car in the World. The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is powered by a Mercedes Benz AMG - M120 - 12 Cylinder engine, which gives it a maximum power of 750Bhp @ 7500rpm and helps it to attain a speed of 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds.




4. Lamborghini Reventon Roadster

Price : $ 1.56 million (€ 1.12 million)

The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster from famous Italian Supercar manufacturers holds the 4th place in the list of World's Top 10 Expensive cars. This power house from Lamborghini has a maximum power of 670Bhp @ 8000rpm and a top speed of 330km/h. This car touches the speed of 100km/h in 3.4 seconds.




5. Lamborghini Reventon

Price : $ 1.42 million (€ 1.02 million)

Lamborghini Reventon is Lamborghini's 2nd car in the list and it is the World's 5th Most Expensive car. It has a maximum power of 650Bhp @ 8000rpm and a 0-100km/h time of 3.3 seconds. Released in 2008, it still has got a place in the list of World's Top 10 Expensive cars.




6. Maybach Landaulet

Price : $ 1.4 million (€ 1.00 million)

SSC Ultimate Aero is an American built mid-engine super car from Shelby Supercars. It is the 10th most Expensive car in the world. The Ultimate Aero has a power of 1287Bhp @ 6075rpm. The top speed of Ultimate Aero is 415km/h and 0-100km/h time is 2.88 seconds.
