1. Kawasaki Ninja 650R For India

Had i been a wealthy person, i would have bought the bike that we are going to talk about today. I am talking about the soon to be introduced Kawasaki Ninja 650R which is sibling of very popular motorcycle already running on the roads on India, Kawasaki Ninja 250R.Kawasaki is a world renowned brand which initiated the trend of bikes with Ram Air engines. The line-up offered globally is certainly worth its price with a host of features and breathtaking performance right at a push of the throttle and now with the addition of Ninja 650R in March 2011, the expansion plans of the company seem to take shape.

2. KTM Duke 125 For India

KTM will soon launch its KTM 125 Avatar concept 2010 variant in India. The Sporty Dirt bike will be called KTM Duke. The bike looks sporty, feels sporty, and don’t go by the 125 CC mileage, because this monster gives 20 PS power which is much higher than the normal 125 CC commuter bikes which deliver 12 to 13 PS power.

3. ktm duke 200 For India

With the entrance of the Yamaha FZ-16 and Yamaha R-15, the India two-wheeler market scenario has been transformed and taken to another and certainly a much better level. Earlier where it was only a dream for bikers to buy a stripped down version of a performance bike, now has been drastically changed. For the Indian market the most important thing to keep in mind is the price tag and one can only offer performance bikes at affordable prices by stripping down some of their features. The trend was brought by Yamaha and is being followed by a number of brands like Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki and now KTM.

4. Honda CBR250R Launch In India

In February 2011 Honda will open Honda CBR 250 booking in India. It will start receiving token money for booking, the deliveries will start in April 2011. The pricing of the Honda CBR 250 has not been announced as of now but it is believed that it will take on Ninja 250 in a big way by competitive pricing. 5. TVS Apache RTR 180 With ABS

Fuel Injection, Delta Frames, Disc Brakes, Digital gizmos are the desires that every young man wants to be an integral part of his life. So far no Indian company has evolved with their bikes, but TVS seems to be taking much interest in different technological stuff and even Bajaj is there with TVS. TVS already has one of the finest motorcycles in India in the form of TVS Apache RTR 180 which is not only one of the fastest in production but also upholds the tag of being the best stopper among all the machines produced in its segment in India.

6. Yamaha Gearless Scooters For India

Honda Activa, Mahindra Rodeo, TVS Wego and Suzuki Access are one of the most popular and hot selling gearless scooters in India these days. Yamaha is correct in gauging this demand and claim its share of the pie. With demand of popular scooters like Honda Activa being as much as two months, it’s a right move for Yamaha to enter the segment and create more choices in the segment.

7. BMW Motorcycles For India

BMW is going extremely well with appreciable car sales still increasing at a good rate and has also confirmed its plans of launching motorcycles in India. On one hand where Yamaha, Honda, Ducati, Suzuki and Harley Davidson have already entered the two-wheeler arena with high end performance bikes, BMW has to make sure that it offers everything to attract customers. Now the question arises which are the bike that the brand is going to launch? The answer is BMW R1200GS and BMW S1000RR are the two machines that this German manufacturer will offer initially. The S1000RR is a sport bike whereas the R1200GS is a dual-sport one.

Australia's Casey Stoner notched up Ducati's maiden MotoGP victory of the season when he dominated the Aragon Grand Prix from pole to the chequered flag on Sunday.

The 2007 world champion, who started from pole for the 20th time of his career, finished 5.148sec ahead of Spain's Dani Pedrosa (Honda) at the Motorland Aragon circuit in north-east Spain.

American Nicky Hayden, also on a Ducati, made it a memorable day for the Italian bike manufacturers when he trumped Spain's Jorge Lorenzo on the final lap to claim third, at 9.496sec, and deprive the Yamaha rider a podium finish for the first time in 14 races.

2. Dani Pedrosa ESP Repsol Honda Team 42m 21.678s
"Ducati were very strong, with both riders on the podium.

"But I was too far from Casey. We did many laps at the same pace but couldn't get him on corners. He did good."

3. Nicky Hayden USA Ducati Marlboro Team 42m 26.026s
"I didn't mean to leave it that late," said Hayden of his nail-biting fight with Lorenzo. "In the final laps, Jorge kept the doors shut.

"It's been a very good weekend for us."

The new YZF-R1 comes powered with 998cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, 4-valves, DOHC engine capable of producing a maximum power output of 179 Bhp @ 12500 rpm and a peak torque of 115.5 Nm @ 10000 rpm.Unlike typical inline-four engine design, where the two outer and two inner pistons move together in pairs with 180° intervals, the crossplane crankshaft has each connecting rod 90° with a unique firing order of 270° – 180° – 90° – 180°. This overcomes the inherent fluctuations in inertial torque during each engine revolution, and the accompanying peaky torque characteristics. This MotoGP-inspired engine is without a doubt the most technologically advanced powerplant ever seen on a Yamaha supersport bike. The new engine feels and sounds smoother than ever, and emits an unforgettable growl from the exhaust.

The new YZF-R1 features Yamaha D-MODE (or drive mode) with rider-selectable throttle control maps to program YCC-T performance characteristics for riding conditions. The maps can be switched to any mode with the help of the button on the handlebar switch. The Drive mode "A" provides a sportier engine response in the low- to mid-speed range and the "B" mode offers ess sharp response for riding situations that require especially sensitive throttle operation.

2009 YAMAHA V MAX SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

Haven't you heard of muscle cars????? The featurs that distinguish them from other cars are quick straight-line acceleration, roaring exhaust and the body resembling the muscles of a body builder. In that sense, Yamaha's V Max is a two wheeler version of the muscle cars. It is more likely a muscle bike than a cruiser bike. Have a look at the features of new Yamaha V Max.

Birth of Yamaha V Max
Yamaha V Max was designed by Yamaha's British designer John Reed in 1985. His design was greatly influenced by the design of American muscle cars. Anyway, the model was a grand success in America. The handling of early models of V Max was very poor. The later versions provided better handling to the rider.

2009 Yamaha V Max-Engine
The 2009 model V Mas has several new features. It was exhibitted at the 2005 Tokyo motor show. The engine displacement has been increased to 1679cc. The max, power has been increased t0 about 200bhp (exactly 197.2 bhp). The new engine which uses fuel injection has Aluminium pistons and specially designed connecting rods. A counter balancer shaft reduces the engine vibration. The large aluminium air intakes in the front carries air to the airbox.
When the engine speed crosses 6650 rpm, the electronically controlled servo motors reduces the length of the inlet valve and helps to increase the power.
The wheelbase has been increased from 1590mm to 1700mm. The length of the swing arm has been increased by 35%. The width of the titanium coated front forks has been incresed to 52mm. The new 6 piston disc break and ABS ensures a safer ride.
